The quality of the math was good, it was not the worst but I think they could have done better. It was easy to understand but it was too easy. They could have done harder problems and done it with better quality. The graphics were good some of the time the color of the back round made it hard to see the words. But over all the colors real grab your attention. Suggestions would be to make it a little harder and maybe not so colorful. The best part of the web site was the sketch fu. The part of the site that need work was the back round color and the color of the words.

what do you think of the content?
The quality of the math sounds a little childish. It was easy to understand, but could have been a little more mathematical.

    Did it grab your attention?
I think the graphics used took attention away from the math; they didn’t really have anything to do with the information that was being given. It was just random things on each page. It did not want me to try the math.

    What suggestions do you have?
I would suggest that they use graphics that describe and fit the math better and they should use more mathematical language. The probably could make that math a little more challenging instead of repeating the same number on every part of the square. My favorite part of the sit was the test questions. The vocabulary really needs improvement.

    What about the rubric?
They followed some of the rubric and got most sections in their sit. Even though they followed the rubric, they didn’t do a great job of following it.

They did best on the practice problems because the problems are a good practice to start finding the volume.

The whole sit could use improvement in just about every area.

What grade would you give you site?
I would give the sit a C because it needs a lot of improvement.

Nick and Paul, 7th grade honors

Good math, though they did not explain it enough for complete understanding. It was a little hard on the eyes; they should go back and redo the visual. They followed the rubric, though they could have made it more interesting.

Breslin and Sage, 7th grade honors

These two did an OUTSTANDING job on their project. They seemed to follow the rubric completely, the math was easy to follow and understand, and you could tell they were completely sure of what they were talking about. The powerpoint was interesting to look at, and easy to follow the entire way. Good job!

    Makena and Emma, 6th grade

Good information, though not enough time spent explaining things. They followed the rubric well, and included everything they needed to, though were skimpy on some parts. Hard to understand directions on the test and assessment.

    Alex and Hank, 6th grade

Good job, boys! Nice backgrounds, easy to read, the information was thorough and well thought out. Not too much graphics, not too little.

    Alonzo and Justin, 8th grade

I love the pictures you guys included in your power point. They really help the viewer understand what you're talking about. Your information was good, too, and you followed the rubric pretty well. However, you seemed to leave out a bibliography and vocabulary.

    Ashley and Sina, 8th grade

Good visually, but blurry and hard to read on some slides. Some slides cannot be viewed, and seem to be unfinished. The information, though, is accurate and easy to follow. In all, well done.

AJ and CD, 8th grade honors

A good site visually and informationally. Seemed to lack a bibliography. It was hard to understand what to do in the practice problems. A little more explanation could be used there.

Alper and Cristian, 8th grade honors

Very captivating. It is easy to follow, however, I did not fully understand what you were trying to explain. A little more time on explanation of the topic. The practice problems were good, and when viewing the answers, you could easily see what you did wrong, if anything. Good graphics and good following the rubric.
